The class has been hard at work learning many science concepts. Some of our latest fun is pictured below. Students applied convection, conduction, and radiation to cook s'mores in solar ovens. We also completed six science stations where students determined if there were physical or chemical changes occurring in the matter.

Today we cooked marshmallows in our Solar Ovens that we made out of pizza boxes...
They were good... Today, we get to do a bunch of tests instead of PE! Yay. :( The sub hurt herself, so we had to find another sub!

we were at the catawba science center and we were blowing into this yellow thing and it would measure how fast you blew Drew got 24 i got 21 and Eli got 23. It was very fun.
I got to go to a pro soccer game. It was the first time the Charlotte Independence played together. They did awesome. Even though they lost they did WAY better controlling the ball. I took a Picture with Jorge Herrera. If you go to YouTube and type in: Charlotte Independence vs. Charleston Battery and go to 23:32 min you will see me rolling a ball to a dude who is a pro. I was ball girl for the game. Go P.S.S.! (my soccer traing place)
