Happy Halloween! This week, we will continue working with 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. We’ll also review order of operations. There is a change in homework this week. Please read below.
Homework for the Week of October 30
- Multiplication Sheet: Due to the NC Check In for math, the shortened week, and Halloween family celebrations, I’ve decided to adjust this week’s homework. We have been working on 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication in class. We are practicing using the standard algorithm, which the students lovingly call “old school.” It is the way you and I learned how to do it in school. Please assist your child as needed with the sheet this week. It will be due on Friday, November 2.
- Today is the Final Day!
To vote, go to www.fsioffice.com. At the bottom of the screen it will say “Teacher of the Week.” Click on “Vote for Weekly Winners.” Then click again on “Vote Now for Week 9.” My name is included in that list. Feel free to share on Facebook and other social media so we’ll have a better chance of winning more supplies for our classroom! Voting will end for Week 9 the evening of Tuesday, October 30.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected] or 704-736-1504. Keep checking our class website at www.mrsparkfifthgrade.weebly.com. Have an amazing week! Mrs. Melissa Park
