I hope your family enjoyed the snow! Amid the falling snowflakes, our class set up our pollution experiments. Students will observe the ecocolumns this week to determine how the pollutants impact the terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. In social studies, we will look at the causes and effects of the French and Indian War.
Upcoming Events/Information:
-Class Donations: If you offered to donate materials for our Colonial Christmas and Holiday Party, a note will accompany this newsletter. Please see the note for when we will need the materials sent to school. I greatly appreciate your help in supporting our class activities!
-Treat Bag: If you have any small items or candy you would like to send in for the Christmas treat bags, please send them to school by this Friday, December 15.
-Spring Field Trip: A letter about the fifth grade field trip is attached to this newsletter. The money and form for this trip is not due until the end of February.
-Donors Choose: Our class currently has a project for a Chromebook posted on Donors Choose. We have already earned $100 towards the project by completing an Hour of Code lesson. -Colonial Christmas and Holiday Party: The students will participate in hands-on colonial activities on Wednesday, December 20. Our holiday party will be from 1:45-2:15.
